Trust's Premium Distribution, Distribution Reinvestment
and Optional Unit Purchase Plan, provides our
eligible unitholders with a convenient and economical
way to maximize their investment in Provident
Energy Trust. The Plan provides unitholders an
opportunity, under the distribution reinvestment
component of the Plan, to reinvest distributions
into trust units. Canadian unitholders may also
participate in the premium distribution component
of the plan, to realize two percent more cash
on their distributions subject to pro-ration within
the limits established by the Plan. Canadian unitholders
can also make optional trust unit purchases at
the Average Market Price (with no discount) by
directly investing additional amounts ("optional
cash payments") within the limits established
by the Plan.
At this time, unitholders who are residents of
the United States are provided an opportunity
to participate under the Distribution Reinvestment
component of the Plan only.
