John Zaozirny is a Vice Chairman and a Director of Canaccord Financial Inc. Mr. Zaozirny serves as a director and a strategic advisor to a number of public and private corporations and trusts. He is also a Governor of the Business Council of British Columbia.

Mr. Zaozirny was the Alberta Minister of Energy and Natural Resources from 1982 to 1986 and was formerly counsel to the law firm of McCarthy Tetrault LLP from 1986 - 2009.
